RDBMS Administration (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, and RDS)
Manage and patch database software, upgrades, and infrastructure
Backup and recovery, ensure database availability and SLA
Support Client applications ensuring availability and connectivity
Manage cluster infrastructure for databases Oracle RAC (19C); MariaDB cluster (10.6x) and MSSQL Cluster (2016)

Enable alerts and monitor databases
Performing database audits, patch management, and other tasks, as needed, to ensure regulatory compliance and a proactive security posture
Database Capacity planning, resource optimization, and consolidation
Database user management, password rotation, and auditing
Database in-flight, at-rest encryption
Database query language (SQL) and programming skills
JOB DUTIES:
Ability to independently address database issues, troubleshooting, and resolution
Perform quarterly DR planning and execution
Documentation, Training, and SOP development and management
Occasionally provide support during evening hours and planned weekend activities
Must work with vendors to ensure databases are patched and optimized in functionality and compliance
Database management on Linux systems, shell scripting, excellent knowledge of networking and storage (ISCSI, fiber, etc.,) infrastructure (NetApp, ExtremIO, etc.)
Knowledge to manage Database tools like SQL Developer, MSQL Workbench, PgAdmin, toad, Enterprise Manager, etc.,
Manage Database Storage management like EMC AppSync
